Precision tailoring is not a process that can be standardised. Every body is different, every fabric behaves differently, and the right adjustment is the one made in response to the garment in front of us. With more than twenty years of practice in women's tailoring, pattern construction and garment restoration, that is the standard we apply to every piece that comes through the door.

Women's specialist

We specialise in the full spectrum of women's tailoring: workwear, occasion pieces, bridal gowns, designer labels and the everyday garments that anchor a wardrobe. Each is treated as its own brief.

We work with independent fashion designers, emerging labels and creative studios on the work behind the work; toiles, samples, small-run finishing and pre-production corrections. We also partner with Sydney's independent menswear labels and clothiers, providing fitting, finishing and alteration services on their behalf.Discretion is part of the engagement.

A well-tailored suit, or a correctly fitted shirt, is the foundation of how a man presents himself. We work with suits, jackets, trousers, shirts and casual wear — from a single hem to a full suit restoration — to the same standard we hold for every garment that comes through the door.

The process
Three steps. The rest is craft.
Bring it in
Book a fitting, or walk in during opening hours. Bring the garment, along with the items you would wear with it — the shoes, the shirt, the belt — so the piece can be assessed in context.
Assessment
We examine the garment on you, identify what is required, and explain what we recommend and what we would leave alone. A clear written quote is provided before any work commences.
Collection
We notify you when the work is complete. The garment is fitted again on collection. If any further adjustment is required, it is made on the spot, at no additional charge.

But ready-to-wear is built for a size chart, and the gap between the chart and your body is the reason your favourite blazer never quite sits right at the shoulder, and your most-reached-for trousers feel slightly off at the waist.Those gaps can be closed. The wardrobe you already own can be made to fit you precisely.
